Hiring a car or scooter in Ibiza is usually fairly, easy except for summer 2009 when it was at times, impossible at any price, due to the hire companies thinking the recession was worse than it was at the time and not ordering enough to replace the ones they sold at the end of 2008.

Thankfully in 2010 they haven’t made this mistake again and you should be able to hire whatever you want with no problems again now.
